Any company that produces waste must dispose of it in an environmentally sound way that conforms to current legislation. One of your legal requirements is to use a registered waste carrier, such as BPR Group.
BPR Group complies with all legislation on recycling and waste. New laws come into place regularly and BPR Group will ensure that you are kept informed of all legislation and that you always comply with it. We issue a quarterly industry bulletin to customers, which includes helpful advice on the impact of any upcoming legislation that may affect your business.
BPR Group will supply waste transfer notes for all recyclables and waste collected. These may be in the form of an annual 'season' ticket. Or, in the case of one off collections, a specific certificate for each visit.
These waste transfer notes must be retained by you for a period of two years because you may be asked to produce proof of collections at a later date.
BPR Group has held the ISO 14001:2004 accreditation since June 2008. As part of this process we have established an Environmental Management System (EMS). We use the EMS to document our environmental impact and our objectives and targets, and also to implement procedures and maintain and continually improve our environmental performance.
BPR Group first achieved accreditation for ISO 9001 in 2010 and we work hard to ensure that we continue to maintain these standards documented within our Quality Management System (QMS).
BPR Group successfully achieved accreditation for OHSAS 18001:2007 in December 2013. We have implemented and maintain an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) which is overseen by our SHEQ Director who has responsibility for ensuring that the processes and procedures defined within the OHSMS are adhered to.
